This bamboo stem plant is not a grass. It comes from Asia, where it often grows in rice fields.
The growth is upright, but the plant branches voluntarily when it is cut.
The leaf is light green, about 1 cm wide and 3-5 cm long. The apex of the stem becomes reddish when exposed to CO2 and strong light.
Thanks to its rapid growth, longer sprouts require continuous cutting and some of the tops can be replanted to maintain a group of beautiful and varied plants.
