The appearance of the Littorella uniflora makes it a plant easily recognizable in aquarium.
It grows spontaneously on the shores of lakes in Europe, North America and South America. It will tolerate a rather low light intensity, but this will increase the length of the leaves.
Each rosette should be planted separately at a distance of a few cm. Rosettes are readily able to emit sprouts. Over time, a very characteristic carpet of oily and fleshy leaves will be created, each 2-5 cm long and 0.1-0.3 cm wide. Be careful while maintaining the tub, the leaves are easily damaged.
The Littorella uniflora is also suitable for land and garden ponds.
