Better measure than guess
Make a general idea of the most important water values of your marine aquarium. Check whether they are in order or if you need to act to correct some value that develops in the wrong direction. When problems arise (healthy fish, invertebrates that do not grow, algae problems) water analysis is the only way to find its causes! You can remedy the problem in a targeted manner as soon as you found the cause with the help of the tests.
This kit contains the following tests:
- PH test: water acidity from 7.4 to 9,0
- KH test: water pH stability (carbon hardness)
- PO4 test: determination of phosphate content (nutrient of plants and cause of algae)
- Test NH4 / NH3: indication of atoxic ammonium, determination of toxic ammonia by table
- Test NO2: nitrite determination, nitrogen compound, poisonous for fish
- NO3 Test: Determination of nitrate content (Algae case)
The following tests are also available:
- PH test: water acidity from 3.0 to 10
- PH test: water acidity from 6,0 to 7,6
- O2 test: determination of oxygen content
- Test Cu: heavy metal, lethal for invertebrates. Also important to regulate doses of medicines
- SiO2 test: silicate determination (silic acid), due to diatomee
- Test Ca: determination of calcium content in marine aquariums. To achieve healthy growth of corals, calcium content must be between 400 and 440 mg/l
- Mg-Ca test: determination of the content of magnesium and calcium in marine water aquariums. The magnesium content must range between 1200 and 1600 mg/l. Running the test first occurs the content of Mg and then that of Ca. By deducting the value of Ca from that of Mg you get the actual content of magnesium in the water.
