CERATOPHYLLUM DEMERSUM - Tropica

The ceratophyllum demersum was found in a smaller smaller in Bolivia during a shipment to the Rio Guapore, a border river between Brazil and Bolivia. The ceratophyllum has no roots as such, but it is however possible to plant it in the bottom of an aquarium and the stems can become up to 80 cm and 5 cm wide. The ceratophyllum demersum differs to the closer leaves and the side shoots, which give it an attractive and compact appearance.

The plant is also distinguished because it is more resistant and its stems do not break easily as those of other varieties of ceraphylthyllum.
