This fund can also be used as a normal substrate in any freshwater aquarium. Fluorite Black Sand ™ can be mixed with other funds, but is more effective when used alone. In additions as in the case of the laterite or other competing products are not necessary. The Black ™ fluorite should never be replaced, it remains effective for the entire life of the aquarium, it is not chemically treated and does not alter the pH of water.
Although it is pre-washed, it is preferable to rinse it before using it to eliminate the residues. An initial opalescence is normal and will rapidly disappear (2-12 hours). To decrease the opalescence use Clarity ™ in combination with a mechanical filter (glass wool).
