Nourishment for aquatic plants

Plants provide the aquarium oxygen which is of vital importance for its inhabitants, prevent algae growth, eliminate harmful substances, offer hiding places and reduce pathogenic germs. Easy installation

The system is completely ready to connect. Screw the pressure reducer to the reserve CO2 cylinder and connect it by means of the hose with the stoplet (incl. Non-return valve) and then with the reactor in the aquarium. Thus CO2 enters the aquarium and is dissolved with the help of the reactor. The CO2 intake can be interrupted at night by means of the interconnected magnetic valve (night shutdown). The amount of CO2 dissolved in the water is constantly shown by the CO2 / pH PERMANENT TEST and can be adjusted later.

Safety

The reserve cylinder is TÜV approved. Thanks to the non-return valve, it cannot enter water into the cylinder. The duration of a CO2 plant depends on various factors. The carbonatic hardness, the quantity and type of plants are decisive as well as the intensity of the water movement on the surface. A cylinder of 500 g which is not off at night from a magnetic valve, lasts with the factory setting about 4 months. Recyclable CO2 cylinders are commercially or in more convenient packages from 3 pieces.

Conversion from disposable rechargeable cylinders and vice versa

All systems JBL CO2 cylinder are compatible with each other. In the multi-purpose system (system M) you can simply unscrew the fitting nut of the pressure reducer with an Allen key. Thus the pressure reducer is suitable for the U system (disposable cylinders). Reverse the method in case of a disposable system.
