Maintaining a constant temperature is crucial to the well-being of aquarium inhabitants. Most organisms feel comfortable at temperatures between 24°C and 26°C. Temperatures over 30°C and large thermal variations can be harmful to fish and plants.

Lighting, pumps, ambient temperature and sunlight can increase aquarium temperature over safe levels. With the use of cooling systems such as Aqua Cooler V2 or V4, it is possible to maintain a stable temperature through evaporative cooling.
