The Bucephalandra look a lot like Anubias and must be treated in the same way. They usually grow more or less epiphytes in water or near it.
The Bucephalandra sp. 'Maia' has small and slightly rounded green leaves, gives the best of itself to lower light levels and is very easy to cultivate.
The size of the leaves are 2-4 cm wide, 4-6 cm long and usually have wavy edges.
Don't cover the creepy rhizome when you plant. This way the plant rots and dies.
