Pogostemon Helferi in Cup - Tropica

This plant was discovered by aquariums in Thailand, near the border with Burma. In Thailand it is called "Downoi" (small star) and it is easy to understand why (5-10 cm high and width). The Pogostemon Helferi is an unusual and particular aquatic plant, with a compact habit, curled leaves and a surprisingly beautiful green color.

With good light conditions and a substrate rich in nutrients, the Pogostemon Helferi forms many side shoots, which develop small roots, and the plant quickly forms an impressive carpet of vegetation in the foreground.
