Phosphates come from the decomposition of food residue, plant remains, and fish droppings. In limited quantities they are necessary for plant development. ZEROPHOS DOLCE releases phosphates from the aquarium within 48 hours and maintains the level at an appropriate concentration. The effectiveness of ZEROPHOS DOLCE is variable and depends on the organic load in the aquarium, population density and specific water conditions. It is therefore advisable to periodically check the phosphate level with appropriate tests. ZEROPHOS DOLCE is indicated for all aquariums, does not alter the pH, is not harmful to aquarium guests and reduces silicates dissolved in water. It can also be used in seawater, but its effect is slowed.
