Rotala rotundifolia 'Orange Juice' in jar - Aquaflora

The Latin name means "plant from round leaves". But this only applies to the palustrated variety, which has circular leaves.
The Rotundifolia rotala, originally from Southeast Asia, has long and thin leaves (2-3 cm wide) and long stems 15-30.
Unlike other rotal species it is relatively unpleasant, even if it needs good light to produce red leaves. Forming sprouts willingly lateral, becoming compact and bushy.
This also means that the light struggles to reach the lower leaves, so the plant must be potato frequently.
