Lobelia Cardinalis in jar - Tropica

The Lobelia Cardinalis is spontaneously growing in northern America. In the nursery this plant is cultivated in marshy conditions, forming dark green leaves that in the lower part are purple. In the aquarium the leaves take on a beautiful shade of light green, with 10-30 cm high stems and 5-10 cm wide.

Widely used in the Dutch aquariums in the so-called "plants of plants". In open aquariums it grows over the water surface, where it forms beautiful scarlet flowers and the leaves regain their color. It can be used in garden ponds.
