This cosmopolitan stem plant turns red more easily and is smaller than the note Ludwigia repens 'rubin'.
Each stem becomes 2-4 cm wide and 10-30 cm high. The plant willingly creates side shoots, but the cut increases the quantity and the plant becomes even more dense. The cut sprouts quickly generate new roots when they are planted.
The plant becomes intensely red and grows better if placed in light and with the addition of CO2.
