Reef Advantage Calcium Seachem

Calcium and carbonate are essential for the growth of all corals. If both become lacking, the growth of the coral ceases, going to meet a rapid decline.

Reef Advantage CalciumTM also contains magnesium and strontium in doses proportional to typical usage ratios (100:5:0.1, Ca:Mg:Sr). In fact, it is necessary to maintain the right value not only of calcium but also of magnesium and strontium.

Unlike lime water (kalkwasser), Reef Advantage CalciumTM has no caustic pH and therefore will not damage magnesium. Used directly, it will not lower alkalinity.

Instructions For use

PRINCIPLES: Use 5 gr (1 teaspoon satin) for 150 L twice a week. Melt it in 250 ml of fresh water. Measure football every two weeks and provide the appropriate adjustments.

NO NEOPHITES: Measure the calcium level, and add the doses needed to keep the calcium at 38020420 mg/L. Every 5 g/150 L will increase calcium by 12 mg/L. The quantity or frequency may be varied but not exceed 10 g/150 L per day. Then use as needed to maintain the correct calcium level.

EXPERTS: after determining the daily level of calcium absorption, create a dripping system. Use the following formula to determine the amount to be added in your dripping container : m=vc/400 (m = grams to be added to the container , v = volume of the tank in liters, c = calcium doses to be added in mg/L). For example, if you want to add calcium for 25 mg/L in a 200 lt tub, you will add 200x25/400=12.5 g in the dripping container.
