Instructions:
1. Rinse the amp with the word “standard” and syringe with RO water and water distilled and then dry carefully.
2. Use the supplied syringe, pour exactly 5ml of RO water into the amp “standard”, close the amp well with the cap and place it in the aquarium for 10 min so that the water within it reaches the same temperature of the water contained
in the tub.
3. After 10 minutes extract the standard amp from the aquarium and add 1 level standard iodine powder meassurin 0.06 ppm. Rinse the amp with the cap and shake until completely dissolve dust.
4. Using the supplied syringe, inject exactly 5 ml of water to test in the other ampoule (large sample).
5. Add 5 drops of Iodine Pro Reagent A in standard ampoules and sample.
6. Add 8 drops of Iodine Pro Reagent B in standard ampoules and sample.
7. Place both ampoules in the positions marked on the colored paper.
8. The standard amp acts as a timer for reaction. Compare water color in the standard amp looking from above until the water color to its inside reaches the color corresponding to 0.06 ppm of the colored paper. This is
the final point of the test, which will last about 5 -15 minutes for an aquarium at 25°C (77°F).
Use hot water to speed up the reaction.
9. Once the test is finished, look in the sample amp from above and compare the color with those of the paper; choose iodine level that matches the color more like that. If necessary, estimate an average value.
10. The color in the large sample will remain stable for 5 minutes. Do not consider color in the large sample spent this time lasso.
