Lobelia cardinalis - Tropica

The Cardinalis Lobelia grows spontaneously in North America. In nursery this plant is cultivated in swampy conditions, forming dark green leaves that in the lower part are purple. In the aquarium the leaves take a beautiful shade of light green, with 10-30 cm tall stems and 5-10 cm wide.

Widely used in Dutch aquariums in the so-called “plant streets”. In open aquariums it grows above the surface of the water, where it forms beautiful scarlet flowers and leaves regain their color. It can be used in garden ponds
