Because we carry out everything by hand, each cave is unique.

Use in aquarium

The caves are the ideal decoration for aquariums with an amazonous or rainforest atmosphere. With their realistic appearance of the tree trunk, they blend perfectly with the real wood and our root backgrounds.
In addition to their aesthetic charm, catfish caves can also be used for loricaride breeding, smaller cat fish and shrimp.

For Loricaridi breeding we recommend using more shapes and sizes so that fish can choose the one they prefer. In addition to caves for catfish, we also offer rectangular caves, D-shaped caves, triangular caves, XXL caves and stone cavities with cavities.
The Loricarids will choose a cave that is not much bigger than them, so keep it in mind when you buy.
Try placing the caves in different flow directions, which the fish will appreciate. If you do not alleviate fish, the caves are also excellent hiding places for, among others, loaches, large shrimp, big prawns, cat fish, etc.

Breeding

• The XS size caves are suitable for small numbers L up to 13 cm, like Bristlenose Ancistrus, L002, L015, L046, L104, L129, L340, L400, L411, etc.
• The SIZE S caves are suitable for numbers up to 16 cm, such as L046, L102, L129, L146, L144, L181, L199, L142, L236, L260, L262 and L397.
  L046 is raised by various breeders in our small and medium round caves. But even our catfish caves are widely used for reproduction. Furthermore, they can be used as hiding places for shrimp, shrimp, cat fish, etc.
• The m grotes m are suitable for reproduction of L-Number up to 21 cm, such as L066, L070, L144, L201, L204 and L333.
• The L caves for catfish are suitable for larger L-Number up to 26 cm, like L070 and L264.
• The XL size caves for catfish are suitable for larger number up to 30 cm, like L075, L081, L128 and L200.

Terrarium use

The catfish caves can also serve as hiding places for reptiles and amphibians like frogs and geckos. Because they are made of ceramics, they can also be used as wet caves.
