Helanthium Bolivianum Quadricostatus in Cup - Tropica

The Echinodorus 'Quadricostatus' of South America has characteristic light green leaves 10-15 cm long that create a good contrast with darker aquarium plants. It is more beautiful if planted in groups, each rosette becomes 15-20 cm wide. In good condition it produces stolones that extend to the bottom. The very light leaves are a sign of micronutrients. There is some confusion on the name of this plant and was sold as Echinodorus Bolivianus Var. magdalenensis.
