This beautiful variety of Cryptocoryne nurii was discovered in the wild in Malaysia around 1970. In the hobby of the aquarium has become popular with the name 'Rose Maiden'.
The plant is easy to grow as the Cryptocoryne wendtii and has the same size and shape of the leaves. With time, it will produce stolons under the substrate, which often emerge far enough from the mother plant.
The intensity of color and motifs on the leaves depends on the light and nutrients available.
