Aquarius plant from crops in vitro in closed cup.
Anubias barteri var. nana is a small attractive plant that thrives in all conditions. Originally from Cameroon, it reaches a height of 5-10 cm, while the rhizome can grow up to 10-15 cm or more. It grows slowly and its leaves last for several years, offering slow-growing algae the possibility to settle. The best result is obtained by planting it on a stone or tree root. It can be fixed with fishing wire until it attacks itself. If planted on the bottom, the rhizome should not be covered because it tends to rot. It flowers frequently under water and is not eaten by herbivorous fish.
