Fish and invertebrates need to feel equally well in the aquarium as in nature. To protect your animals, turn aquarium water into biotope water. Only clean water guarantees optimal quality. The natural substances contained in the catappa leaves have many beneficial properties for the aquarium inhabitants, as well as tannins. After 1-2 days the leaves descend on the bottom and after 1-3 weeks have completely released their substances. At that point you can add a new leaf. The oldest leaves can be removed or left in the aquarium as additional food for loricarides and shrimps. Stored in dry, they keep unlimited.
