The Bio Drain Exo Earth is a substrate of natural and non-organic drainage, designed to create a system of filtering and effective drainage in the bottom of the terrarium. Unlike other natural materials, it does not rot and does not degrade, guaranteeing lasting and hygienic performance.

Used together with the bio drain mesh (separate separating network separately), it allows to effectively separate the draining substrate from the decorative upper layers (eg Plantation Soil), preventing water contamination and keeping the terrarium clean and functional.

Once installed correctly, the substratum acts as a biological filter, favoring the colonization of useful microorganisms and improving the quality of the water, which can then be recirculated in waterfalls, nebulizers or drop plants.

Installation Guide (Terrarium Fund Stratification):

1. Place the terrarium on a flat surface and clean the waterproof base.
2. Carefully rinse the bio drain substrate and distribute it evenly on the bottom.
3. Creating the aquatic area by removing part of the substrate where you want.
4. Cover the Bio Drain with the Bio Drain Mesh, separating the sections with moss, bark or rocks.
5. In the terrestrial area, add a biological substrate like Plantation Soil.
6. Planting lives plants and cover the ground with leaf litter.
7. Add a water substrate (eg Turtle Pebbles or Riverbed Sand) in the part with water and fill.
8. Use Turtle Clean to introduce beneficial microorganisms in water and accelerate organic filtration.
