The Aponogeton Bivinianus is a large and robust plant, suitable only for large aquariums.
It is a bulb of bulb of the Madagascar, whose bulb can be covered by the lower layer, provided that the sprout tip is on the ground surface. In favorable conditions it can form very large leaves (up to 80 cm long and 8 cm wide, and 30 to 50 cm wide). The older leaves are dark green intense, while younger ones are light green and sometimes brown until their complete development. Nutritional capsules greatly increase growth.
In nature, the Aponogeton Bivinianus is located in fastwater and prefers a bit of flow in the aquarium water. He needs a period of quiescent in which the bulb loses all the leaves, after growth resumes.
