Limnophila hippuridoides in jar - Tropica

The Limnophila Hippuridoides is originally from Asia and the stems grow up to 20-50 cm high and 6-10 cm wide - often with beautiful tips of the crowned sprouts outwards. It is a simple plant, able to adapt to different conditions.

The leaves are green with the lower red-purple part, and the entire leaf becomes red-violet in ideal growth conditions. A plant with vigorous growth that creates new and solid sprouts from the base. It is advisable to spread the older and older sprouts to make room for these new shoots. Repeated the cut sprouts, which will soon develop new roots.

If the stem or leaves are damaged, it emits a strong perfume.
