RO line instructions
Attention to ...
· Connect the system always and only to a pipe of cold water (at a maximum of 30 ° C) otherwise the consideration rate and the membrane can ruin themselves before time.
· Check that the membrane is pushed well after all, before screwing the container cover (4). (The central membrane tube must be aligned with the edge of the container without a cover).
· Do not force the fittings (especially the elbow connection - Flow Restrictor), but, if once started, the system showed losses, use the Teflon.
· Slide the water into the carbon filter before connecting it to the membrane, so that it can purge any impurities present.
View previous
· Osmotic water and residual water must always be able to flow freely; Never close with taps or similar things.
· Protect the membrane from frost and drying. Once the membrane has been used it must no longer dry.
· The permeate pH value is not predictable, high pH values can be easily correct down with CO2, if the pH value is too low, it is sufficiently thorterly obtained the water obtained.
· It is not possible with reverse osmosis to eliminate particularly high single values, for example a high content of silicic anhydride or nitrate.
· Do not leave the car unattended during use.
· Do not use water for food use.
· Always use original spare parts.
· Regularly carry out the chamber changes to sediments and coal filter. The function of activated carbon is to retain chlorine that, if passes, irreparably damages the membrane torn the microstructure. The salts will not be retained optimally and the value in microsiemens, of the outgoing water will increase.

In our system the water enters the tap of the water network by means of the slip (connection located inside the sachet), reaches a universal fitting (1), and passes through a pre-filter to sedimentation (2) which holds particles greater than 0.005 mm (5 micron). (The RO Basic model is without sediment filter; in this case the carbon filter also performs the 5 micron mechanical filter function). After this first purification the water is scrolled into a cartridge with activated carbon (3) that takes away the chlorine and also eliminates traces of pesticides, herbicides, metals and, even, the bad flavor and / or smell that water can free. After passing through the coal filter, the water is sent, under pressure, to a special membrane (5) that lets only pass pure water. The substances that harden water and harmful ones such as salts, carbonates, sulphates, heavy metals, pesticides, and even bacteria and viruses are retained and rinsed with residual water. For assembly, the membrane must be inserted into its container by ensuring that the larger O-ring remains towards the cap, while the two small o-rings remain downwards. To obtain the desired effect the quality of the osmotic membrane is decisive; The membranes used in our devices (polyamide / polisulfone) are extremely resistant to bacterial aggression, have long life, they are easy to preserve and remain unchanged for years. The water once treated, is pre-ducted into the central tube of the membrane and it comes out, pure, through the central duct (6). For the first commissioning of the system, open the water tap and rinse the appliance for at least two hours so as to completely eliminate the dry preservative of the membrane; During this period verified that in the channeling (7) it will flow at least one quadruple quantity of concentrate with respect to osmotic water produced.
We recommend using the system for half an hour at least once a week; If the plant remains unused for
More than 14 days before proceeding with the new use, convey osmotic water in the drain for at least 5 minutes.
If the system is not used for long periods, avoid drizzling the membrane by repositioning the 3 colored mats.
RONPS - Osmosis system with 2 "anti-NO3-PO4-SIO2 filter:
For the first use, before connecting the osmotic water output to the Anti NO3-PO4-SIO2 filter (8), let the water slide for about 2 hours so as to completely eliminate the dry membrane preservative and prevent this clock the anti-NO3-PO4 filter- SiO2 (8).
ROFV - Osmosis system with a membrane wash valve:
For the normal operation of the system, the washing valve (white / blue faucet) (4) must be closed.
The membrane washing makes the plant more efficient: opening the valve all the water will go into scrap, bringing away salts and whatever accumulated in the membrane. This is a quick and easy way to clean the membrane from any residues, lengthening their lives. Below is the table indicating the frequency of washing.
Degree of water hardness
Total hardness
Frequency of washes
Tender
less than 7 ° D
Once every 4 weeks for 15 min.
Average 7 - 14 ° D
Once every 3 weeks for 15 min.
Hard 14 - 21 ° D
once every 2 weeks for 15 min ..
Very hard More than 21 ° D
After each use at least 5-10 min.
