Matrix TIDAL

Biofiltration at its best: MatrixTM is a highly porous filtering medium consisting of inorganic solids that effectively removes nitrogenous waste. With a diameter of 10 mm and a macroporous surface (internal and external) of about >~700 m2, the original filter medium Seachem offers the ideal settlement area for nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria. Unlike other biological filter media, MatrixTM can then simultaneously remove nitrates, ammonia and nitrites in the same filter medium.

The peculiarity of this filter medium is that it is inert and therefore does not decompose. This will save you a replacement. Compatible with all types of wet filters and wet-dry filters. MatrixTM is shipped into bags with durable seams and corrosion resistant hinges. Especially for Tidal 55, 75 and 110 models. Ideal for all filters!

How to use: for every 200 L of water use 250 ml of MatrixTM product. The dosage can differ from the one indicated on the package. This is because the latest studies Seachem have shown that MatrixTM is able to handle more water than previously thought.

Tip: You can rinse MatrixTM if necessary. Filter damage is excluded.
