Reef Carbonate Seachem

Seachem Reef Carbonate is a chemical solution of carbonates and bicarbonates (4000 MEQ / L) built to raise the level of alkalinity in the aquarium.

Reef Carbonate produces a PK of about 9.0 in salted water (higher than competing products). Carefully follow the recommended doses, a wrong dose could drop the balances present in the aquarium.

How much is the ideal alcalinity level in the aquarium?

The alkalinity of the coral reef must be maintained at 3-6 MEQ / L (8-17 DKH). Alkality should not fall below 2 MEQ / L.

Dosage:

Use 1 cap (5 ml) for 80 liters twice a week. We recommend buying tests for the control period of alkalinity.
