Ceratopteris Thalictroides in jar - Aquaflora

The thalictroides ceropteris is a pantropical fern, 15-30 cm high and 10-20 cm wide.

This plant is normally rising quickly, but the addition of CO2 can be needed to promote growth. In small and open aquariums, it can grow out of the tub and form beautiful superficial leaves. The finely branched leaves are very decorative and create a good contrast with the other forms of leaves. In the presence of good light, Cerotopteris Thalictroides grows quickly and helps prevent algae consuming large quantities of nutrients. For this reason it is a good starting plant in small aquariums.
