Bucephalandra 'Deep Purple' in jar - Aquaflora

The Bucephalandra Deep Purple is one of the rarest form of bucephalandra which was found in the Kapuas region in the Indonesian part of Borneo. His belonging to the species is not yet very well known.

This species of bucephalandra becomes slightly larger and has elongated elliptical horizontal leaves, pedunculate court, with a slightly rippled margin.

Under water develops magnificent purple tones.

Like the other Bucephalandras, the "Deep Purple" is an epiph-party and looks better with average light, good water circulation and constant supply of nutrients and CO2.
