In a closed aquarium ecosystem, the oscillations of the parameters are quite frequent. An efficient filtering system or overdosing of means that reduce nutrients can lead to sudden reduction of nitrate levels. Too low concentration can slow coral growth or worse cause permanent damage.

AF NO3+ is a product that increases the level of nitrates in marine aquariums. The problem of the NO3 too low often affects aquariums with a large number of corals and a small number of fish. AF NO3+ is a source of pure nitrates, whose appropriate level is necessary for proper coral growth. The concentration of nitrates depends strongly on the level of phosphates in the water. Before attempting to increase the NO3 level in the aquarium, check the PO4 concentration. Maintaining it in such proportions allows to maintain an appropriate chemical balance in the tank and to protect it from the increase in the growth of algae.

AF NO3+ is a product of the line Aquaforest Lab created for aquarists who want to have full control of the parameters of their tub. Before use, it is recommended to test both NO3 and PO4 levels and to dose them gradually until they reach the desired nitrate level.

THE DOSAGE:

1 ml of AF NO3+ added to 100 l aquarium water increases nitrate level of 0.5 mg/l

The recommended maximum daily dose is: 1 ml/100 l of water

The optimal value of nitrates (NO3) for a barrier aquarium is 1-4 mg/l.

Check nitrate levels frequently and administer the dose only when nitrate levels are too low
