Product Details

SUBSTRATpro is a means of biofiltration optimized with perfect volume usage, long life and maximum performance. Composed of spherical sintered quartz, the filter medium promotes the prolification of useful bacteria that in turn reduce nitrites and prolong the life of the filter material. SUBSTRATpro is suitable for fresh water and marina, can be washed and used several times.

Tip: Do not clean too thoroughly or ever replace the entire biological filter material at once. Bacterial cultures should not be completely destroyed.
