The term Aquascaping indicates the technique of creating landscapes in aquariums. These can be fantastic plant compositions, reproductions of land landscapes or natural habitats. An aquarium aquascaping hosts few fish and invertebrates or even without it. As a result the contribution of nutrients is reduced for plants, limiting their growth. Nitrogen, phosphorus and other minerals are missing and require a targeted fertilization. For a healthy growth in a beautiful submerged landscape plants need light, CO2 and appropriate nutrients.
