Aquatic plants are very useful in every aquarium because they remove nutrients to the water, thus actively acting against algae.

When you first enter aquatic plants it takes time before the formation of strong roots that keep them well anchored to the bottom. With JBL PlantStart reduces the waiting period and plants begin to grow almost immediately.

The special crop of mixed bacteria allows plants to more simply absorb nutrients and trace elements. For example, iron 3 precipitated is transformed into iron 2, immediately accessible to plants.

During the tests an additional advantage of JBL PlantStart: The bacteria very quickly form an initial colonization in the soil where they decompose organic matter. In this way the substrate just inserted becomes in a short time an additional working filter. With the biofilm that formed JBL ProScape PlantStart reduces colonization of blue algae (cyanobacteria).
