Phosphorus is one of the three macronutrients (NPK) most requested by plants. It is a component of ATP, NADP, nucleic acids and membrane phospholipids. Phosphorus is mobile in plants; this means that plants deviate these nutrients from the older leaves to the newer ones. Therefore, symptoms of deficiency appear first in the older leaves. Symptoms of deficiency include dark, opaque or discolored leaves.
ActiveTM is a concentrated phosphorus source (6,000 mg/L P). If used as indicated,activateTM will increase and accelerate the growth of aquatic plants without encouraging the growth of algae. For maximum benefit, use with SynthesizeTM.
ActiveTM consists of potassium salts of various phosphates and is therefore also a potassium source. Contains 8,800 mg/L of potassium.
