Very compact variety of Hygrophila corymbosa, with the leaves placed near the stem.
It forms numerous lateral shoots, which enhance its compact appearance. The leaves are dark green-brown when the plant leaves the nursery, but after a transition period in the aquarium become light green and white-silver at the bottom.
In the presence of strong light, the most recent leaves can become brown-redish, while in poor lighting conditions the older ones die after a short time. There are often new lateral shoots that replace the old ones.
