The Crinum calamistratum, originally from West Africa, is a pretty bulbous plant with very narrow leaves of dark green color. The curled leaves become 40-120 cm long. Shape smaller bulbs than other species of Crinum and requires less light.
In the aquarium the plants that thrive form a series of small bulbs. It's not eaten by herbivorous fish. It can also be used in brackish aquariums with low salt concentrations.
