THERE'Anubias barteri var. nana is a small attractive plant that thrives in all conditions.
Originally from Cameroon, it can reach a height of 5-10 cm. The rhizome can grow up to 10-15 cm or more. It grows slowly and its leaves last several years, which allows slow-growing algae to settle. To achieve the best results, it is advisable to plant it on a stone or tree root. You can use fishing wire to fix it until it is anchored on its own. If planted on the bottom, the rhizome should not be covered because it tends to rot.
It often blooms under water and thrives in shady places, where other plants fail to grow. Also, it is not eaten by herbivorous fish.
