The Bucephalandra 'Brownie Purple' is one of the rarest form of Bucephalandra which was found in the Indonesian part of Borneo. His belonging to the species is not yet very well known.
This species of bucephalandra becomes slightly larger and has elongated elliptical horizontal leaves, pedunculate court, with a slightly rippled margin.
Under water develops magnificent brown-violet tones.
Like the other bucephalandras, it is an epiph-party and has a better appearance with medium light, good water circulation and constant supply of nutrients and CO2.
