Marsilea hirsuta in cup - Tropica

The Hindu Marsilea is a carpet plant from Australia. It is a fascinating plant, which is usually born with leaves similar to those of a quadrifoglio. After a period of transition it develops different types of leaves, possibly a low shape with single leaves as a large Glossostigma, or alternatively it develops leaves to two, three or four lobes that vary in height (from 2 to 10 cm), depending on the growth conditions. Whatever the shape adopted, the shape of the runners and quickly spreads into the aquarium.
