Modular extension system for JBL Proflora reactor useful to meet the needs of large tanks.
Useful for a capacity of 200 liters of water.
The color of the material reduces the growth of algae within the diffuser.
Completely removable so easy to clean.
If cleaning is needed, it is sufficient to disassemble the unit by pulling the modular sections separately. After cleaning, simply reassemble the unit using the modular sections provided with snap sections that avoid the interruption of the bubbles. Wash the entire unit completely warm tap water. Do not use detergents!
Install vertical position the various Reactor CO2 at a aquarium point with a moderate water movement, with the upper edge of the unit immersed at least 2 cm below the water level.
Connect the CO2 connection hose appropriately, allows the passage of some flow bubbles to the beginning through the unit.
When using the unit for the first time, the bubbles will slowly rise from the bottom upwards along the bubble spiral path. The unit requires a break-in in time of approx. 48 hours. The organic film that forms in this time frame allows bubbles to rise without obstacles.
On their way upwards the bubbles shrink allowing the CO2 to spread in the surrounding waters. Once the top is reached, the bubbles go to the collection CAP in which any remaining CO2 residues are completely released.
After a certain time the collection stopper will be filled with gas that occasionally escapes upwards through the ventilation slots on the side. This gas is not CO2, but what is known as false gas that is in small quantities in CO2 bottles is that it also spreads in the bubbles that rise through the surrounding water.
Clean the various CO2 as rather as possible. It is therefore advisable to connect the unit to a fairly dark point in the aquarium with a suitable water movement.
To ensure optimal diffusion, make sure that the slots between the modular sections are not blocked by plant segments or decorative objects.
