In their natural habitats reptiles, amphibians and other animals we care about in our terrariums take vitamins, minerals and trace elements of vital importance to them through food. Even if we try to reach a natural diet in the care of the terrarium, it does not manage entirely. When, e.g., we feed crickets and meal jumpers, these do not come from the natural biotope of our animals in the terrariums which consequently do not have their natural food at their disposal! Often meal animals do not receive, for economic reasons, any food or food of a quality less than in nature. Therefore it is very useful to enrich the feed with JBL PROTERRA REPTILFLUID to give our animals the correct dosage of vitamins.

A well-known example is the frogs from the poisonous dart that lose their venom in captivity because they no longer have a certain type of ants. This does not hurt the frogs and we can even reproduce them without problems in the terrarium but the poisoning due to natural food is lost.
