Alkaline buffer Seachem - pH stabilizer between 7.2 and 8.5 for fresh water

Alkaline buffer does not contain phosphates. This makes it ideal for use in aquariums with plants, in which the presence of excess phosphate could contribute to the growth of unwanted algae.

Directions

Use 7 gr (a satin teaspoon) every 40 lt of water every day until the desired pH is reached (this dose increases the alkalinity of about 2 MEQ / L (5.6 DKH)). If your water is not well buffered, use alsoacid buffer (see the table below).

Recommendation: Alkaline Buffer does not lower the pH, you can add directly to the tank at any time.
