Simple and safe control of water values in marine aquariums. Determination of: pH, carbonate hardness, calcium, magnesium, copper, ammonium, nitrite, nitrate, phosphate, silicate and oxygen
Easy: pour the water into the tube, then the indicator, compare with the board or count the drops to the viraggio
The comparator considers the color of the water. Incluse are protocol tabs and water analysis, biro
Baby-proof reagent bottles, water resistant plastic case. Reagent refills are available separately
Content: 1 test case with 29 reagents, 12 glass tubes, 2 plastic tubes, 2 syringes, 3 tablespoons, thermometer, biro, protocol and analysis cards, laboratory comparison system and exhaustive instructions on use
Healthy aquarium with conditions as in nature
The correct water values depend on the fish population and plants in the aquarium. Even if the water seems clear can be polluted. In the presence of negative values can arise diseases or algae in the aquarium. For a healthy aquarium with conditions as in nature it is important to regulate control and adaptation of water values. Water tests JBL allow fast, easy and very precise determination of all important water values.
The following tests are available for marine water:
PH test: water acidity from 3.0 to 10
PH test: water acidity from 6,0 to 7,6
PH test: water acidity from 7.4 to 9,0
O2 test: determination of oxygen content
KH test: water pH stability (carbon hardness)
PO4 test: determination of phosphate content (nutrient of plants and cause of algae)
Test NH4 / NH3: indication of atoxic ammonium, determination of toxic ammonia by table
Test NO2: nitrite determination, compound of poisonous nitrogen for fish
NO3 Test: Determination of nitrate content (Algae case and plant nutrients)
Test Cu: heavy metal, lethal for invertebrates. It is also important to regulate therapeutic doses of medicinal products
SiO2 test: silicate determination (silic acid), due to diatomee
Test Ca: determination of calcium content in marine aquariums. To achieve healthy growth of corals must be between 400 and 440 mg/l
Mg-Ca test: determination of the content of magnesium and calcium in marine water aquariums. The content of Ca must range between 1200 and 1600 mg/l. Running the test first occurs the content of Mg and then that of Ca. Detracting the value of Ca from that of Mg and results in the actual content of magnesium in the water.
