Apt feast It is a high-performance organic substrate, ideal for those who want a lush and lasting planted aquarium without having to resort to continuous fertilizations. Thanks to its advanced composition, Apt Feast contains more than twice the nitrogen (N) compared to the traditional aquasoil of the main brands, thus providing the most important macro-nutritious for healthy and vigorous growth of aquatic plants.

This substrate offers complete radical nourishment up to 12 months, eliminating the need for additional fertilizers for roots. It is not necessary to use APT Start in the initial phase; APT FEAST guarantees a fertile and stable base for the entire ecosystem.

Guide to use with Warm Start method

1. Pour apt feast on the bottom of the aquarium.

2. Add the Hardscape (rocks and woods) and fill the tub of water.

3. Turn on the filter but leaves the lights off.

4. Insert starter bacteria and / or filtering material from an already mature aquarium.

5. Set the water temperature around 29 degrees to accelerate maturation.

6. Leave the aquarium during Dark Start for about 14 days without lighting.

7. After this period, make a complete water change (100%) and insert resistant plants.

8. Liquid fertilization begins from the first day after planting using the APT line.

It is advisable to avoid the insertion of delicate or buconeophalandra plants in the first two weeks.

During the two weeks following the initial planting, it is important to make a change of water of 80% once a week. Starting from the fourth week you can gradually introduce slow growth plants, more delicate species, in vitro crops, fish and shrimp.
