With special activated carbon, EasyCrystal FilterPack C250 / 300 is a replacement filtering medium for the internal Easycrystal filter and should be used for chemical, mechanical and bioactive filtration in freshwater aquariums up to 40 liters. The filter cartridge can be changed quickly and easily without wetting your hands. The white filter fabric has the prefilter function for larger particles, while the green filter fabric is used to filter smaller particles. The special activated carbon is used instead to eliminate unpleasant odors. Thanks to the practical clip support, the cartridge can be changed quickly and cleanly.

The degree of filter contamination can be determined by the flow rate of water. Depending on the type, the filter must be cleaned every 14 days up to 3 months when the flow rate is reduced by about half. To wash the filter material it must be used warm tap water or the water of the aquarium. When using filter sponges, it is sufficient to squeeze them. Do not use hot or cold water, because it destroys useful filter bacteria. Do not use detergents.
