Eheim Aktiv

Aktiv is washed with acid and activated for automatic water adsorption (active surface 1200 m² / g). Therefore, this activated carbon takes chemical pollutants as pesticides, drug residues and other chemicals very quickly. The use of the product is particularly suitable after the inhabitants of the aquarium were treated with drugs.

Features:

• Activated carbon for self-insorption.

• Use only for a limited period of time (about 4 weeks).

Aktiv should only be used for a limited period of time (approx. 4 weeks) and then must be removed or replaced. In the layered structure of the filter, Aktiv should be used directly after the mechanical filtering mass (eg Eheim Mech or MechPro) and the biological one (eg substratpro) in the supplied mesh bag.
