Eheim Substratpro

Substratpro is a means of biofiltration optimized with perfect use of volume, long life and maximum performance. Consisting of spherical sintered quartz, the filtering means favors the prolification of useful bacteria that in turn reduce nitrites and extend the duration of filtering material. Substratpro is suitable for fresh and marine water, can be washed and used several times.

Tip: Do not clean too deeply or replace the entire biological filter material at once. Bacterial crops must not be completely destroyed.
