Salinity ™ It is a mixture of salts specifically formulated for the barrier aquarium that contains all the main essential components, minor, and those traces that are in natural barrier waters, but does not contain toxic or non-essential components.
Furthermore, Salinity ™ is the mixture of salt more concentrated on the market.
With a hydration level ™ <0.5% salinity, it will produce a greater volume of salt water prepared for a salinity of 35 ‰ per unit of weight than any other mixture of salt currently on the market.
Salinity ™ has the same distribution of anions and cations found in natural sea water (NSW). We have completed the data from all the seas and the oceans of the earth, and we centered the average point of the range for each element.
We guarantee ± 5% of the midpoint. For example, at a salinity of 35 ‰, for calcium, magnesium and strontium, we have the following parameters and intervals. Football level: 422 mg / l, range 400-443 mg / magnesium level 1336 mg / l, range 1269-1403 mg / l Stronzio level: 8.4 mg / l, range of 8.0-8,8 Mg / l Alcalinity level and pH vary widely above the oceans of the earth. Salinity ™ will be in the following intervals: pH: 8.4-8.6 Alkalinity: 3.2-3.8 MEQ / L
Why is it different?
The difference between Salinity and any other market salt is that we are using "anhydrous" chemicals. This means that the salt is very dry and no moisture. This influences salt weight. For example, with Salinity, they will only use 36,27grams of salt for each liter 1 of water and this will make salt water with specific weight of 1.026 (highest end of the salinity range that any hobbyist of reef aquariums would have used). However, with other salts, it is necessary to add about 38 grams of salt per liter 1 to reach the same results as Salinityi. Moreover, due to the lack of humidity as a weight factor, we are able to be much more consistent with the parameters (calcium, magnesium, etc.) to ensure that each lot respects the parameters of these elements.
