Unlike traditional methods based on socks or sponges, the Reefmat uses a Filter roll in 50 microns non-woven fabric, able to effectively retain particles in suspension and debris, preventing organic decomposition within the system. The roll advances automatically when it detects an increase in pressure, thanks to Smart optical sensors, thus avoiding clogging and maintaining the flow rate.

The heart of the system is the Connectivity to the reefbeat app, which allows complete and real-time control: receive notifications in case of roll out of stock, malfunctions or maintenance need, and display the filter status directly from your smartphone.
