AquaMedic Plankton Light Reactor II - phytoplankton reactor

Inside the reactor, microalgae are cultivated using light, fertilizer and the content of carbon dioxide contained in the air. Fitoplankton can be used to directly feed many invertebrates filterers or used for breeding zooplankton. The integrated 10 W LED light provides sufficient light for good breeding. If the nutrient content is sufficient, the algae mass can quadruple in 24 hours. The plankton light reactor II has two connections for the simultaneous supply of air and CO2. If there is a strong demand for plancton, CO2 can be given in a forcing manner. The lid is provided with cap for electrode pH predisposition. With normal requirements, however, no additional CO2 is required.

For easy partial removal of the plancton, there is a flexible pipe with dosing clamp and support.

For ventilation and oxygenation, we recommend the use of our Mistral 100 air pump or larger models.
